Our Education Programs
Adult Christian Education is under the direction of our Rector, Fr. Shannon Leach.
There is a weekly series held on Sunday morning following the 8:00 am service and prior to the 10:30 am
service. The time is 9:30 am to 10:15 am. Topics may be a single session and others may span a number
of weeks. The topics are edifying, provocative and holy. Occasional breaks will be announced in the
Service Bulletin, the "Upcoming Events"
column of the website, and the E-Newsletter prior to postponement.
Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their
faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and
play. Based on Montessori principles and developed using a spiral curriculum, the Godly Play method
serves children through early, middle and late childhood and beyond. The tools of this program,
were lovingly created by Duane Schaefer, former Jr. Warden, and skilled craftsman.
ALL CLASSES ARE HELD IN THE PARISH HALL (PH).
Teachers gather the kids from Church after the beginning service and follow the Crucifer to the Parish Hall.
Children are accompanied by their teachers back to church during the Peace.
