Mission Statement
Music is an integral part of our liturgical worship together as a community of believers.
Raising our voices in song unifies and deepens our communal prayer.
Music is a treasured gift that we share with God and one another.
Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all to offer their musical
gifts in worship. The music ministry at Grace in the Desert offers a wide variety of experiences
for parishioners of all ages and musical abilities. We always welcome new
members to our musical ensembles. Whether you are interested in singing or
as an instrumentalist we invite you to explore one of the many musical opportunities
at Grace in the Desert Episcopal Church. If you have any questions please contact the Minister of
Music .
Adult Choir
The Adult Choir welcomes all singers to join in
leading our music during the 10:30 a.m. service from Sunday after Labor Day till Trinity Sunday.
Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. till 8:30 p.m. Our music ranges from Anglican chant
to African American spirituals. The adult choir also performs masterworks by classical and contemporary
composers throughout the year accompanied by various instrumentalists from the parish and the Las Vegas
community. In addition to leading our music on Sunday mornings the Adult Choir also sings for special
services and events throughout the liturgical year. All members of Grace in the Desert Episcopal are
welcome to join the choir. Older youth are also encouraged to join the Adult Choir. For more information
contact the Minister of Music.

have played for some private parties in the Las Vegas valley. Sometimes, we’ll also participate in services
